Our Assessments
Many schools use the Cambridge Secondary 1 testing structure to assess learner performance and report progress to learners and parents.
Cambridge Secondary 2 assessment uses internationally benchmarked tests, giving parents extra trust in the feedback they receive.

From the bottom to top, stepwise, the system Comprises of the following stages:
1. Foundation Stage (Kg 1 + Kg2)
2. Key Stage
Key Stage 1 ” Grades 1 + 2″ & key stages ” Grades 3-6″ formally called CPC which refers to classes from 1 to 6 ending with a globally oriented exams in English, Math, and Science, currently held at schools, under auspices and invigilation of the British Council (representing Cambridge), marked by Cambridge; starting June 2012, however, CPC exams will be marked by Cambridge and the certificate obtained will be Cambridge Primary Checkpoint “CPC”.
3. Checkpoint
A two year stage (grade 7 & 8), which ends with checkpoint exams in English, [Physics, chemistry, biology(science), and Maths]
Exam papers are marked by Cambridge.
4. Pre-IGCSE
A one year (G.9) stage, in which the learners study the core of the 5 subjects & functions as preparatory step towards IGCSE.
5. IGCSE
This is the secondary, pre-university stage that is usually covered in 3 scholastic years and landmarked by 5 exam sessions, (June and November in year/grade 10 & 11 plus June in year grade requirements in order to be admitted to Egyptian universities.
Notice:
Alongside the so – called Cambridge subjects, all Egyptian students are obliged to study and to be examined in Arabic, Religion and ANS in accordance with the Egyptian curricula.
